WHO? I am a native English speaker with a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Purdue University. I primarily help non-native English speakers (e.g., Chinese, Korean) with writing; I speak Chinese and Korean. All clients are welcome, but I may be poorly informed of your country's (e.g., India, Vietnam, Russia, Japan) language, customs, religion, etc. I believe that education is a lifelong process. WHAT? My services include English-language editing, journal selection, expert selection, reviewer recommendation, cover letter development, abstract development, point-by-point response letter, and additional editing (see www.....com for more information). WHERE? Although some San Jose-based customers exist, most customers are located remotely. WHY? Many scientific manuscripts (especially from Chinese writers) are rejected for English language. In my 3.5 years in China in mainland China as a contract professor, a colleague and friend spent one year writing a peer-reviewed paper; her paper was beautiful! Do-it-yourself (DIY) writing is admirable because it builds character, and DIY writing is often necessary. If your deadline is short and you have the money, a copyeditor is fast method. If my price is too high for you, I can provide referrals in China. The price is China is lower (e.g., 25%) than the price in USA. Again, the lead-time in China is longer than the lead-time in San Jose. HOW? 7-step process 1. Submit your manuscript in Microsoft Word format by CL. 2. Receive your quote within 48 hours; call (five 05...) for a fast quote. 3. If you like the price, place an order online (http://....com) or with Paypal. 4. Your paper will be assigned to a team in your field; a working editor and a managing editor are a team. 5. The working editor will change your manuscript with the Track Changes Tool in Microsoft Word. 6. The managing editor will check the edited manuscript and will return your manuscript. 7. Accept-or-reject each change. HOW MUCH? Fixed prices are impossible, but we give two guidelines: 1. We charge 315$ for a decent manuscript less than 10 pages. 2. We charge by-the-word for a manuscript over 10 pages. The price ranges by-the-word are 0.04-0.15$/word for peer-reviewed journals and 0.02-0.0...$/word for other manuscripts. CONFIDENTIALITY?
