I remember when I watched Rugrats growing up. For some reason, I was most interested in the character Stu Pickles. He was an inventor. A creator. He would make all sorts of wacky inventions; and no matter how many times he failed, he always managed to try and try again. Stu’s persona as a mad scientist is something I’ve always observed. His ability to ignore what people said about him, and continue to achieve things that brought him contentment is an absolutely admirable quality. It’s a characteristic that I think we should try to achieve. I am an inventor, but unlike Stu, I don’t create gadgets or gizmos. I create stories. I make facts and/or fiction come to life with words. I seek opportunities that allow me to write: memoirs, flash-fiction and/or poetry for a magazine or newspaper; a blogpost persuading a community to be shop for organic foods; or even a well-developed research article on cultures' activity in the United States. I am a writer, and together, we will make your story come to life.
