​Australian-born Tania Meneguzzi is a multi-award-winning independent Screenwriter/ Director/ Producer based in Los Angeles. Esteemed producers, authors, and individuals have commissioned Tania to write over 30 screenplays, TV pilots, and book adaptations. Highlights include producer Brian Kennedy (The Homesman, The Great Gilly Hopkins), Barry Navidi (Al Pacino's producing partner), Emmy-nominated actor/producer Joseph Fiennes, and producer J. Todd Harris (Oscar-nominated The Kids Are All Right). Additionally, she developed an interactive series with WP Narrative_ of Will Packer Productions (Ten #1 Box Office hits). Tania co-wrote the spec feature script Post No Bills which won 'Best Thriller Screenplay' at the Creative World Awards (2018), and her feature screenplay adaptation of Maclovia Martel's novella My Garden won the 'Most Original Concept' award at the Austin Spotlight Film Festival (2020). Most recently, Tania’s feature screenplay adaptation of Lesley Manuel’s high-concept thriller novella Time To Go won ‘Best Sci-Fi Screenplay’ at the Marina del Rey Film Festival (2022). Also, Tania's original spec feature screenplay The Good Room that she solely wrote was a top 50 finalist in the ScreenCraft Fellowship selected from 3,600 submissions (2022). Years prior, following coursework at the London Film School, Tania founded ZZ Productions Ltd from 2004 to 2010. During that time, she wrote, produced, and directed several shorts that screened in festivals across the globe, which led to her debut feature film, The Run. The suspense drama screened in 13 international film festivals and won five awards, including one for 'Best Film' and two for 'Best Director,' and conjointly received multiple nominations for 'Best Feature' and 'Best in Festival.' Moreover, Tania produced the theatrically released European feature film Happy New Year London. It was the opening film at the ECU Film Festival in Paris and screened in 10 festivals garnering three awards. Tania's comedy writer/ director skills were also recognized for creating The Holly Didd Show on the former UK web channel, Bebo. The 'Ping Pong' episode was nominated as 'Best Webisode' at the INNY Awards in NYC. Furthermore, her spec feature dramedy Brink won 'Best Screenplay' at the London Independent Film Festival (Screenplay Competition) and has since been developed into a scripted television series. Her skillset covers a variety of genres including SUSPENSE THRILLER, CRIME, DRAMA, MYSTERY, ROM-COM, COMEDY, DRAMEDY, HISTORICAL, BIOPIC, SCI-FI, ACTION and HI-CONCEPT. Tania also has extensive experience developing TV show ideas beyond the pilot script whereby she creates pitch decks that include visuals, a killer logline, series summary, character descriptions (cast wishlist pics optional) and synopses for future seasons to enhance the potential longevity of the show (which is vital to pique serious interest).
