I'm a writer and independent filmmaker with experience in various fields, including 10 years in screenwriting, in film criticism for websites, copy-editing academic papers and VISA documents (especially for those who struggle with English) and writing treatments and proposals. I tutored filmmaking and international students in writing scripts and English-language papers throughout my university years, and afterward, with perfecting the language of critical VISA documents. Creatively, my goal is to make a script provocative and evocative, to develop content with original messages for audiences. My own films explore the themes of family, expression, understanding and denial, while exploring the tragedies of when we don't. I help develop writing that is as original and reflective of the individual or brand as possible through my detail-oriented and personable approach. I've earned 8 awards for my short film, "ARSON", two of which for Best Directing, which you may ask to view any time for reference to my work. For you, I can write you a few pages of feedback for your script, consult with you about one you're working on and help you bring out the powerful message within. I can doctor your script or write you one using your concept. For those who need help with grammar and prose, I can help revise them and make your documents more professional yet retain your voice. For all this, I can work remotely, through video chat, or meet you in-person. In-person is preferred and allows us to work together best, but if distance is a problem, we can work remotely.
