Writer in Houston, Texas

I am a published poet and writer of short fiction. I create a diverse amount of website content (ranging from artist biographies, theatre reviews, to long-form articles and research papers.) I write across genres and stylistic registers. Some of the work I've enjoyed most includes writing short fiction for literature readers, building profiles for theatre actors and productions, writing health and wellness pieces and, co-creating and editing academic research papers of authors with non-native English language proficiency. As an academic, I've taught courses ranging from English Literature, Global Media Studies Creative Writing, and Soft-skills to Undergraduate students. Since my doctoral research was with a specialization in graphic narratives, I am extremely passionate about comic strips and graphic novels and love developing characters, story arcs, and unusual plots. Although I have no professional experience in writing for gaming, it is a genre I find very interesting and would love to work on it. As a writer I love form and technique, as much I love to experiment with it. I'm looking to work with anyone who has an imagination.
