First, I fell in love with stories. Then I fell in love with characters and dialogue. I fell in love with the idea of creating something new out of nothing and the idea that you can start with a blank page and end up with something different every time. I love world building and creating characters and situations that feel real. I especially like to focus on human flaws and the possibility of overcoming them. That being said, I'm a bit of a romantic. I fell in love with movies when I saw Singin' in the Rain on my old VHS player. I fell in love with theater when I saw a high school production of Cabaret. It was through these romances that I have discovered what I want to do with my career. I want to make people fall in love, the way I did, have, and will over and over again.
