Hello, I'm Eli Kroes, a West Michigan native and graduate from Western Michigan University, where I studied writing/English, audio engineering, Spanish and Russian. In addition to my own style of creative writing, influenced by authors like Philip K. Dick, Samuel Delany, Thomas Pynchon and Joyce Carol Oates, I've also had experience professionally with blog writing, audiobook and podcast editing, and broadcast journalism. I've written everything from local news and sports pieces to short fiction to film reviews, and I can adapt my style to suit your project. My main skills lie in editing and re-writing, but I am equally comfortable as a ghost writer for your project, and I will work with you to develop a voice you're satisfied with. My background in broadcasting allows me to simplify an idea to the bare essentials, but I can go the other way into verbosity and decorative language too.
