Hello there! My name is Ashley, and I am based out of Cumberland County, Maine. My childhood consisted of reading everything I could get my hands on. The library was my favorite place to visit, and I loved jumping into worlds of which I knew not. My passion for words has seen no degradation over time. As a teenager, my first paid “job” was transcribing hours of recorded conversations for my father’s magazine articles. I found it oddly rewarding, and, to me, the money was just an added bonus that I likely would have been just as happy without. I have a long history of writing content as a freelancer for an advertising company in Westbrook. Through them, I wrote countless blog posts and website content for companies such as Sebasco Harbor Resort, Lucas Tree Experts, Dental Herb Company, Bascom Family Farms, Coombs Family Farms, as well as several other smaller clients. On a personal note, I have always used writing as a means of self-therapy. I have always loved words—perhaps to a fault, though I’ll never see it in that manner.
