As a Story Analyst and Script Developer for American and European studios, I have contributed to the development of about 60 produced, Theatrical features and Tv shows. My name is Dan Hoffmann. I was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark but earned my B.A, in Dramatic writing at New York University - a city that I currently reside in with my wife, Dineen. When developing and fixing screenplays, I draw upon a huge vocabulary of writing techniques, devices, and tools for every genre and format. My story notes always aim to provide the Writer with detailed and practical advice on how to improve and strengthen their script so that it can reach its maximum audience within the genre. Stories are my passion. Not only that but I love to help writers and producers make their stories work. It's an addiction of mine that I caught the first time I saw one of the scripts that I had worked on, reach the big screen. But more than that, It's also about providing a service; first and foremost to the audience but equally important to the people that I work with. There´s nothing that can match the facial expression I get from screenwriters and producers, when they, during the cause of our collaboration - finally realize the potential of their own stories.
