Writer in Brooklyn, New York

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to peruse my profile :) I am new to the community, but I have nearly a decade of screenwriting experience under my belt. In addition to writing dozens of feature and television scripts, I've also worked at a prestigious talent management company in Los Angeles, where I aided in the development of screenplays for film and television. I'm also a graduate of Georgetown University and have studied sketch and improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater. My most recent projects include working with a Tony award-winning producer to write a feature-film adaptation of a famous Shakespearean play, as well as developing a television pilot with a well-known actor/producer. I was also hired by a prolific producer to write a coming-of-age feature-film based on the real-life experiences of a transgender teenager during the disco craze of the 1970s, which is currently in pre-production. I am currently based in Brooklyn, NY. My rates will be determined on a project to project basis.
