Writer in London, Ontario

Hi. My name is Daniel, and I have recently returned to Canada after a decade overseas. I have written, edited, and self-published three novels, and I am working on more as you read this. Academically, I have a background in political theory and sociology with an emphasis on political thought and political economy. I enjoy writing about social issues from a satirical and humorous point-of-view, as well as philosophical ideas played out through characters and relationships. Beyond that, my interests include film and film theory, music, literature, economics and trade, sports, video games, psychology, and learning about and trying new things. At the time of writing this, I am a fish out of water in Western/North American culture, and I am eager to find out what new things have gone since I left and how it is different than what I remember. I am currently residing in London, Ontario, though I will move to Toronto in the near future.
