Martin is an exceptional writer. Not only is Martin able to produce consistent, high quality work, he's able to infuse it with his hilarious style of humor. I've had the good fortune of working at The Second City at the same time that he wrote and performed the critically acclaimed show "The Winner of our Discontent", but I consider myself lucky to have seen him perform stand-up several times. This guy delivers the goods every time.
