Writer in New York, New York

I am a rising senior at Barnard College majoring in History. I've worked as a tutor since middle school, and since 3rd grade, it has been my dream to be a writer. I am committed to what I set my mind to, potentially to a point of fault- for example, once I sprained my ankle in a historical reenactment of the Revolutionary War, but I did not seek medical help right away because I figured my injury would add to the authenticity of the piece. I am looking for an opportunity to do what I love the most: conduct research and share it with others. I am incredibly enthusiastic about learning, and I aim to get my doctorate in the future. I believe this would be a fun job (or my very nerdy personal definition of "fun"), and this would give me experience in doing what I love most.
