Hello, I am an experienced professional researcher, writer, and editor, who has authored work for international publications including Oxford University Press, and edited bestselling academic volumes for Springer Press and Brill Press. I have a doctorate in Religious Studies, which provided me with a strong background in understanding cultures, diversity, and a myriad of interdisciplinary topics in the humanities. My work experience includes drafting over a million dollars’ worth of winning proposals for an Ottawa-based think tank; writing policy, research, and governance review papers for a variety of federal government departments; authoring case-study blogs for websites; editing academic works from different disciplines; and editing briefing notes for foreign dignitaries. My first love is creative writing, and I am an award-winning writer of children’s literature and poetry who has edited many works of fiction, including a book that was distributed by the Learning Disabilities Association of Canada to over one hundred elementary schools. From technical papers to poetry, I love writing and I welcome the challenge of writing for different audiences and mastering different writing styles.
