Writer in Vancouver, British Columbia

I really like writing about mundane things in a way that makes it seem more special and vibrant than they are or than they usually feel, which means I'll write a lot about descriptions and small details. The most important thing to me when writing something is not just for it to read well, but for every word and every sentence to flow together well. Basically, prose. Very poetic prose. If you're curious, I was (basically) a Philosophy major in University. That might explain some things... On a more serious note, though, I have a BA and graduated from a program that challenged me to write both in a non-creative/academic tone, and a creative tone, so I'm able to write in all sorts of styles. If you can't already tell, I sometimes try to write with a hint of humour. It might not necessarily be funny, but maybe it'll at least get you to smile from my bad attempt at it. Well. So much for trying to write on a more serious note. I'm also available as an editor as well. If you have a piece of writing you want to polish, I can be your person. I tend to keep a very critical eye on details, especially word/sentence flow, grammar, and punctuation. In turn, you have an edited piece, and I can say I've edited your piece. It's a win-win!
