Professional writer, editor, proof reader with over 37 years of experience in the field of writing. Winner of many awards for the teaching of writing, the development of writing concepts, editing, and proofreading. Taught writing for extensive amount of years at the university level, served as curriculum director at local school districts where I oversaw the complete overhaul of the way writing was taught to students, was Chief Reader for the Advanced Placement Exam and for the SAT Exam (where I managed the development of sound writing practices and developed writing models), and served as the Writing Specialist for the State of Pennsylvania for three years. Recognized both locally and nationally for my contributions to the art and skill of writing. Received awards from the University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, and Geneva College. I retired last year from 14 successful years teaching writing at the university level (University of Pittsburgh and Robert Morris University). Prior to that, I served as an Advanced Placement Writing teacher and administrator in charge of curriculum and instruction at local school districts for over 20 years. I am available to work as an independent writing contractor for your personal needs or am willing to work with a team of writers. I am able to cater all forms of writing to all levels of competency, from elementary writing and elementary students through the college and university ranks to professionals. I have edited short stories and novels for colleagues and have been an editor for many university doctoral and masters dissertations. No job is too small or too large for my expertise.
